Wait, I thought the Jackson family had asked Santa Barbara to allow MJ to buried at Neverland and was told no by the authorities there. According to this article they don't seem to know anything about it.

We had dinner with our friend tonight. Where the body is right now is where the body's been since before the memorial. To reiterate, there was no Jackson in the casket at the memorial. Matter of fact, he's yet to be in the casket.

Apparently, the Jacksons have been told that no cemetery wants him because of all the hoopla having him there would bring. He's too much of a hassle due to the pilgrimage of fans that would undoubtedly ensue. Any place that takes him would have to hire on extra security for an indefinite time. They also don't want to inconvenience the families of everyone else already in place, so to speak. Over 20 funerals at Hollywood Hills had to be re-scheduled last Tuesday due to the Jackson activities. One wall around the grounds has already had to be re-built due to people climbing over and concertina wire has had to be installed.

So, this is why Neverland has re-entered the picture. Unless Santa Barbara caves in, he'll be a body without a home. They could likely agree to bury him without fanfare and in an unmarked grave if they can't do Neverland or simply cremate him. He can remain for a while where he is, but he can't stay there indefinitely.

    What a mess.
