(I'm having a hard time phrasing this question properly so if it's awkward I'll try to rephrase it.) And if you mean (1)then are you harboring juicy 'insider info.' ----info. that really proves his guilt---that the general public/media doesn't know about?

Phrasing unfavorable things as fact when they most certainly are not is irresponsible and unfair to his family, friends and legacy as a human and entertainer don't you think?

There is nothing intelligent or clever about this, Mr F. A person who meant a lot to a lot of people had died, and you're contributing nothing but a cheap shot. I know he had a lot of troubles, and perhaps "mentally unbalanced" isn't so far off the mark. But he was an amazing musical talent, and his music and his performances were very important to many. To talk about him being a dead corpse is just rude, thoughtless, and infantile.>> I don't see how I'm taking a Cheap shot at him, I actually admired him as a Kid. It's a FACT that he played a Dead corpse in his "THRILLER" Music Video, and I was just commenting on how ironic it was that now he's dead. I wasn't being disrespectful, I has just mentioning a FACT.

That's no more ironic than any actor that's played a corpse and then at a later point in life died.

In fact, I can't even think of any living popstars today who has played a dead corpse.

When they wrote all those Beatle songs through 1967 or so, a publishing firm named Northern Songs, Ltd. owned the rights through EMI/Parlophone Records in England. After that Maclen Music, a combination of McCartney/Lennon, owned all the songs written from that point. McCartney, around 1984 or so, upon a request for advice from Jackson, told Jackson he should invest his money back into something he knows, such as music. McCartney owns the rights to such music as all of Buddy Holly's songs, musicals such as Grease, Oklahoma, Annie, South Pacific, etc. He bought them when the original copyright expired. When the original copyright expired on all the Beatle songs owned by Northern Songs, Jackson outbid McCartney for what McCartney described as his "babies". Later, when pressed for cash, he sold half his interest to Sony/ATV, which still owns their portion. That's why you hear the occasional Beatle song pop up in a commercial. Jackson needed the money, and Sony has no scruples. The Beatle catalog now becomes a prime asset in Jackson's estate along with Jackson's own catalog, and could be what helps Jackson's estate earn more money after his death than it did during life, getting his estate out of a sure bankruptcy and into profitability, just like Elvis. Given that, he might always own the Beatles.
