    Definition of SKANK

    slang : a person and especially a woman of low or sleazy character

    Seems to me that fits. Neither one had any regard for the truth, neither one had any problem distorting or omitting facts to fit their agendas, neither one has any problems deliberately lying to people they know are stupid enough but it. To me, that's low or sleazy character, hence a skank. Moreover, I'd call it promiscuous to sacrifice one's ideals and morals in order to smear something or someone else. In other words, whoring yourself out to lie. There are skanks, and then there are political skanks. Palin and Bachmann are two fine examples of the latter.
