Rather hide behind the bully pulpit microphone like the Big, Fat Idiot, Franken has walked the walked. He put himself out there, got himself elected, and has become part of the process. He's made it very clear that he's not the 60th Democratic senator, he's the 2nd senator from Minnesota. He's well aware that he won by 300 plus votes out of just under 3 million cast (that's .0001%!) and that plenty of people didn't vote for him. So I think, at least for a while, he'll be very focused on doing the business for Minnesota.
