I am prone to sinus infections and since I have started using a neti I almost never have them any more. A neti pot simply rinses the sinuses with a saline solution. It is safe and simply wonderful. I do not use an actual pot, but a neti bottle that I purchased with the saline packets a Wal-Mart of all places...lol. A friend turned me on to it because she felt it had cut down on her getting colds and such.
