They have parsley in them and I believe other stuff that makes them function as an antibiodic. I think they either help fight or prevent infections (like tooth) or both I'm not sure. I used it once years ago for a nasty sore throat I got, hurt like heck when I swallowed, and it cured it up pretty quick. You take 1 - 2 tablets daily for wellness maintenance and 3 every 3 hours during first signs of imbalance. Which is usually what I'd do, as soon as I notice symptoms like coughing or stuffy nose, I began taking them right away.
