Originally Posted By jonvn "when people do vile, evil acts against you and the people you love." That's right, that's what hate is for. Unless someone at the Disney company has engaged in a vile or evil act against you or the people you love, then it's an inappropriate thing to be feeling.

I just try to keep them out of my mind except when they get brought up in the real world, and wish that karma truly cathces up to them. But, honestly, I don't feel you or anyone else has ANY right to tell me what is or is not appropriate to feel.

"I don't feel you or anyone else has ANY right to tell me what is or is not appropriate to feel." Well, if you HATE someone I would think there ought to be a strong reason since it is a strong emotion. I am assuming you don't even know these people, but maybe you do. "I certainly don't hate you." Good, I don't hate you either. I don't even dislike you in the least. You may have annoyed me, and I just don't hide that. But I know the way I write just gets people worked up, and then they get angry with me. Everyone does. My attempts to moderate it don't work too well. Don't even think about it.

Besides, if I did, I'd be scolded for slandering good people who can't defend themselves. But they've earned every negative feeling I have. And I KNOW one of them reads here regularly because he is paranoid about his future with the company. I'd be too. "I don't feel you or anyone else has ANY right to tell me what is or is not appropriate to feel." <<Well, if you HATE someone I would think there ought to be a strong reason since it is a strong emotion. I am assuming you don't even know these people, but maybe you do.>> It depends on who you are talking about. This thread started as a simple breaking of news about who the new No. 2 at the MK is. I don't know Dan personally, although it is possible I've met him. I do know his Dad, who was a VP at WDW until about 18 months ago, and was very well-liked and respected. The only person I have ever identified here as someone I have had issues with is Cynthia Harriss, and when last I heard she was unemployed and spending time with her family again. I don't hate her. But I do dislike her ... strongly. ANd I did know her when she was in Anaheim ... quite well, unfortunately. I think people assume I have personal issues with WDW park execs. I don't. I know and have a great deal of respect for Dr. Beth Stevens, who was DAK's VP until her recent promotion. I believe Jim MacPhee at EPCOT is a wonderful Disney lifer who 'gets it.' I have heard good things about Studios VP Michael O'Gratton, who I met years ago when he was in charge of MK entertainment. And MK VP Phil Holmes ... well ... uhm ... three out of four ain't bad. I don't like the way WDW is run by Al Weiss, Meg Crofton and Erin Wallace. But I have only met two of the three and very casually. So anyone who thinks I have personal issues with WDW execs is just flat out wrong! "I certainly don't hate you." <<Good, I don't hate you either. I don't even dislike you in the least. Originally Posted By jonvn "Good. I HATE you both! (this is humor, folks)" Bite me. What did Harriss do that was so unpleasant? The thing is she was obviously so phony from the get go, but people just loved her touchy feely attitude. It was plainly an act. It's hard to know whether these people do a good job, or a bad job, given what they have to work with. IT might be that they have their hands tied, and can only do so much. Or it could be they are inept. The world is full of inept people.
