    Oh, yay. Can't wait.

And it's impossible to not have fun there, even if it's June.

YES. Always hysterical guests to be seen.

it's 'management' guys like you who would get guests so infuriated, and then you'd pass them along to us in City Hall. Thanks! :)

You said that to a guest? More than once? I have to think Disney cast member training arms you with better ways to handle it than that.

On the seating issue. I think it has been the policy for quite some time (I think I first heard about it a few years back) during times of very high crowds. Just as you I never experienced since I travel in the off-season, which you seem to do normally, too. As others pointed out, it is to ensure a seat for those with trays in hand. Especially when the queues are really long, the tables could be take for quite some time by the waiting part of a family. If it was only the Sonny Eclipse room, they might feel that this is so popular that as many people should get a chance and especially that you need to "pay" for the show with a purchase.

----- and this added to the guest experience how ? How can one complain about experience when this is what they added?

p.s. if this was mid day in June-July and 100 degrees- you wouldn;t have liked the response you would have gotten from me if it was me you had told that too.

Yeah, nobody likes having their stupidity pointed out to them.

maybe someday when I don't have a position that requires some skills and talent a company depends on and don't have a family to raise - and balance schedules so they can attend top schools and train athletically etc. -- I can make such stupid statements as well and go to WDW any ol' time... geez

And some people do get so irrational that you eventually have to say the obvious (as politely as possible).

Also I do agree with EE that even with all of WDW's drawbacks, it is still hard to have a bad day in the parks.

I came very close in January 2010 when it was really cold and grey and raining. So the opposite of heat can really get to you as well...

so I owe an apology to Scutr.and HM.. my mistake completely.. I deserve to take a shot for that.

as although I wouldn't want my cast members saying that in theory-- I likey would have said something like it or worse...

gotta not post much when I start the day with a 2AM- 4AM conference call with Korea and working on 2 hours sleep

    my bad..

there's the advantage ( if you want to call it that to living in Chicago ) -- 30's and rain in January is a heat wave here-- we were buried under 20 inches of snow and likely below zero..so WDW still looks good

You have the right to go whenever you want/can! Whether or not I think you're a glutton for punishment going to Fla in the summer is irrelevant. It's just my opinion. I know how hot & humid South Jersey is in the summer. Florida in June, July, or August? No, thank you! Not even if that was the ONLY time of the year I could go. I'll be on the computer in the air conditioning. More power to ya, vb, for perservering with the weather and the sweaty, unwashed masses! I can't even handle dealing with the traffic headed to the shore in the summer...

    >> I missed the part where the customer complained it was hot and crowded<<

THAT'S what I was talking about.

    >> I owe an apology to Scutr<<

No, no, not an issue. Was an honest mistake.
Now, about being a Republican...AND from Chicago (d#%@ Blackhawks!) however...

    >>30's and rain in January is a heat wave here-- we were buried under 20 inches of snow <<

Now, there, I feel your pain! (mostly in the elbow I got tendonitis in from shoveling snow)
