Switching monorails from one beam to another is extremely difficult... which is why you have to change trains to get from WDW to Epcot. To significantly expand monorail service at WDW would mean (as previously mentioned) either a large number of transfers or extremely long and circuitous routes. Light rail would actually be a better choice, but that has a whole bunch of different problems.
