If they're closing attractions for this (and whatever will eventually replace EO), I wonder why they haven't said anything sooner. Recent attraction closures, like the Maliboomer at DCA and Snow White at MK, have had extensive warning before their final day

This is a very reliable source.<< AKHMMM: "Disneyland Vice President Jon Storbeck is keeping his strategic planners on the path to a virtual Death Star landing in Tomorrowland, with a two-phase approach still favored to get some of the “placemaking” done prior to the 60th Anniversary in ’15, with the rest opening after the 60th and bookended by the Monstropolis opening in early 2017." Who's right? Who's wrong? 2017? It's going to take 4 whopping years to build this?? Yet .. Universal Florida can turn this out in 1 year - ONE! : http://orlandofloridaevents.fi...lley.jpg Unbelievable! >> "Just imagine our poor little Dean though." Poor guy. His head is going to explode when he reads Ferret's latest information. << Well, I've been behind on about 45 posts on this thread .. and when I did get to Ferret's info ... I'll tell you what - If a Star Wars presence is kept off to one corner .. and not a complete makeover of Tomorrowland .. I can sleep. CC ... I just think happy-color-wheel thoughts before I go to sleep each night. I'll happily pitch in to blow up Autopia! Hasn't been futuristic .. not even when it opened in 1955. Taking over Innovention's space? That's a pretty visible piece of real estate .. no matter where you stand in TL. Just what do they exactly have in mind, is what I'd like to know .. and how it's going to mesh with the rest of Tomorrowland? Once some of you LPers read the last Miceage 'school newspaper'.. specifically about future projects ... I'd love to hear what you all have to say with Miceage's writing style. The rumor is, Al is not writing anymore. So who is? I do find the "High School" writing style very irritating. I'd take them more seriously .. if they'd only get out of talking like juveniles just out of elementary school.

Don't there need to be 2 parts with something else in the middle in order to bookend things? >>Miceage 'school newspaper'<< Perfect description! From what I can gather, the 'newspaper' is written by the same people behind the weekly In the Parks column that tends to run on Fridays. Both have a similar writing style and typos/misued word and metaphors, and have a similar tendency to get really wrapped up in one specific detail of a project while missing some of the big picture implications
