Period. It has done more to destroy the American worker than any company ever has ... and it takes advantage of the poorest amongst us to spread their plague. I don't know what my cars have to do with anything (where's Nikki to take a shot?). But one car is a Honda and it was made right here in the good, old USA by good, old American auto-workers. My Benz was indeed made in Germany by good, old German auto-workers. And neither Honda nor Mercedes Benz have put the American automakers in the mess they are in ... bad union deals, a crappy product (only in the past decade has that changed by any real measure), a lack of vision ... those are reasons why they are on the verge of getting more of your money. <<I don't shop W-M (my daughters do) but DH, DS and I all drive Jeeps.>> Good. I hope they are well-made. I have been burned by Ford (multiple times), Pontiac and Dodge and will never buy another vehicle from those companies. My Hondas and Mercedes have ALL been 99% trouble free. And they are built to last unlike every 'American' car I have ever owned, which all seemed to have a 'drive by' date on which usually coincided with the warranty lapsing!

Under 50,000 miles and already had transmission problems, power steering replaced, window motor replaced, computer reprogrammed, electrical problems, steering column recalled, new steering column had to be worked on and still makes metal on metal sounds(we gave up trying to fix), and amount of road noise makes conversation near impossible. We have already decided the next one is a Honda Oddessy.

A company can make 100 million in profit, but if it doesn't make 110 million next year everybody freaks and starts slashing everything they can on the P and L. If you or I had a company making 100 million a year we would consider it a great success.
