I remember those drinks, They were more of a blended drink but not frozen. I also seem to remember it was only stand alone carts that sold them.

The Wal-mart store with the highest margins were the ones in rural areas b/c all the competitors were small businesses and they didn't last long. As soon as competition was gone prices shot up. Imagine you own a business and you get a Wal-mart contract. To fill the massive orders you have to expand your operations. Things are great in the beginning as your merchandise sells from the many Wal-mart shelves. Then a year or maybe 5 later Their buyers come to you and say we aren't going to pay your price anymore. This is the price we will pay. You say but that's below my cost to make it. They say then you need to reduce your costs b/c this is our price. Take it or leave it. So now you as an owner have 2 choices. You can shutter your recently expanded factories or you can outsource mfg. to china. Either way U.S. jobs are lost. Thanks Wal-mart! Not only do they primarily buy from china but they help force the jobs to china.

Actually I've been pretty behind on my online reading over the past couple of weeks. I just spent 10 days up in Idaho saying goodbye to my mother, which was as tough as you might imagine it to be. But I'm back in the saddle, ready to take and give abuse as needed!

At first it can be exciting because of all the orders, but after that comes the squeeze.
