I actually quite liked the movie myself, though I didn't love it. I did mean what mawnck expressed (better than I did): >>I took it to mean he appreciated that I tried to do the movie reviewer thing and fairly describe the positives and negatives, rather than being an indiscriminately gushing fanboy.<< (I think it's funny I came across as a "he," which happens to be what I am.) Though your appreciation for PatF, as well as anyone's preference for Return of Jafar over Aladdin, is absolutely legitimate and a matter of personal taste, I do think there does exist a fan-boy phenomenon when it comes to certain companies such as Disney. Take Apple for example. I like their products myself, but Steve Jobs could put out a $400 sundial and some people out there would stand in line at the Apple store, fork out the cash, and call the product a success. All I was saying is that mawnck's nuanced attitude towards PatF (though he did like it quite a bit, as did I) boded well for Tangled. Again, this doesn't imply that anyone who liked PatF has no taste or judgment.
