We can see our local Central Hockey League team (Colorado Eagles) for $18. Are they as good as the Avalanche? No, but they are still very fun to watch (and unlike the Avs, they usually win).

And Cubs Bleacher seats ( my preference) - range from $18 to $45 - -- they are priced on a tiered basis depending on who they are playing. If you want to see the Rockies on a Thursday afternoon - $18 -- if you want to see the Cardinals on a Friday night $45 each. And yes, thatis for bleacher seats - All the other ticket prices tiered as well.

Case in point...my parents bought 2 3day passports with hopper option before prices went up and they paid over $420 with taxes. That makes every day at WDW a whopping $71 per day!!! Seems to me if there is any value, it would be after you've been there for over 7 days! Of course, I may be mistaken...as I do not have the right numbers in front of me right now.

That is far more inexpensive than a one year AP for someone that lives 1500 miles away and can't get there every day. If you took what you paid for your AP and divided that by the number of times you have gone to the parks you are probably at $5.00 per day or less. That's a lot of value for the money no matter how much the "quality" appears to have declined.

The Chicago area has 3 Northern League teams (which isn't a very high league but still...). Joliet, Gary, and Schaumburg. Only reason I know is because a team in that league (the Wpg. Goldeyes) is the only team we have! But still, it makes a fun outing once in awhile, and our new ballpark is pretty nice. If anything is ridiculously priced, it has to be movies. $9+ just for tickets, then a medium popcorn and soda is like..$11…it’s just crazy.
