My step dad's mom was horrified and stormed off. Cultural differences eh. When we honeymooned in 2000 at WDW, we booked with Virgin. If we went to their welcome chat at DTD, they offered us free tickets to one of the dinner shows. We went of course, and they briefed everyone not to be offended by the word fanny or fanny pack. As an American living in the UK, I lmao.

I think it showcases a big (and wonderful) difference between this site and that ... we had plenty of mug threads back in the day ... but we moved on ... and we apparently don't attract the dimwitted type of poster who would want to get into an online flame war over reusing old mugs! I saw they had another thread lauding WDW for extending summer hours. All I could think was HUH???!?! You have MK closings at 10 p.m. in June and July. You have TPFKaTD-MGMS closing nights at 7 and Fantasmic only three nights a week. Hell, even DAK, which was supposed to see night hours as part of their Lametastic promotion closes at 6 or 7 every night (I'd hate to point out that is 2-3 hours before sunset and LESS than the original park closings of 8 p.m.) But I digressed ... the LP is the online Disney place to be for (mostly) intelligent Disney (and other) discussion ... mixed in with pixie dust and bodily function humour.

That Zenia Mucha's exec assistant was charged with insider trading today ... you just couldn't make this $hit up if you tried! (there's a thread on it down below on the Business Board, but no one actually reads or posts there much, so I thought I'd toss it in here too!)
