I'm a Disney Cast Member and I've worked PAC (the "Ops" CM's) and it was, in no way, a nightmare to clear the streets after the dance portion. In fact, it was waay easier to clear the street compared to keeping the walkways clear during Spectro or Celebrate!

Second, I've actually had many classes with the people who designe MiSiCI, and you would never realize how many floats get recycled for later parades. I'm not talking about the obvious ones, but where they keep the frame, yet change the outside.

Third, it captures the attention of the Guests, which is the main part of the show. And, in my personal opinion, BPB is a TERRIBLE show! The space that it's performed in is incredibly tight, awkward for the people who are performing. And, when you compare the two shows, you see more people getting involved with MiSiCi than BPB. Because of that, MiSiCi is more successful than BPB. And, if you forget, the Green Army Men are MC's as well.

So, please, see it from the actual point of view. It's successful, you guys just are a bunch of haters who say you're fans, but in reality just hate everything about it, which makes my job as a Cast Member that much harder. So...thank you.

Question, why do you think Celebrate it at DLR is "high art"? is it because the smallness of the performance area makes it LOOK like there's more people in the streets as compared to WDW? Is it because MiSiCi takes place in the hub, where it's more spread out, and more people are dancing than it looks like?

Looking at hours it seems it now replaces their parade (which makes me wonder what exactly they are doing- whether its an overlay with the current parade or just the CaSP "floats") Some days I wish I lived closer to DLR...

You run something once a day as THE parade vs our 2-5 times a day + 1 to 2 parades statistically it's going to be more crowded...

Now I want to go see MiSiCi again :p maybe tomorrow

I don't think the WDW one is grand, but it's passable as a daily side-occurrence (not the full parade) whereas the one at DLR is both far far worse of a show and presented as the daily parade.

Let me see if I get you right here. If someone does not like a particular offering at WDW they become Disney haters, and make CM's jobs harder. Now is that what you're saying?

By the way, welcome to LP.

One does not need to blindly accept and love everything the company does to be a fan. In fact IMO the biggest fans are the ones to laud the true achievements and raise eyebrows and question the lackluster and poor offerings that happen.

Not everything the company does is great, good or even acceptable and blindly accepting everything as wonderful means you no longer holding the company to the highest standard and instead become a "defender of mediocracy"

Personally I do not see how anyone liking or not liking something has any baring on how hard your job is. I would think the more people dislike something the easier your job is as there would be less of them to entertain. Certainly the queue line & crowds for Stitch are much easier to handle and deal with than the lines and crowds for Space Mountain (and for me I dislike both so haven't ridden either in a long time)

MiSiCi is successful but is it the best WDW has put on? No. Is it their best effort? No. Is it entertaining? Yes. Could they have done better? Yes.

And as MPierce said- Welcome to LP. It's nice to have other CMs on the board
