Considering the enormous attendance and financial problems they have, it would seem to me that adding the MSEP to the entertainment lineup is a no-brainer. It's just the kind of offering that only Disney can do really well - why not use it to differentiate the park from the nearby Ocean Park and help establish the "Disney Parks" brand? Obviously, I'm not the only one to think of this, if they went to the trouble to ship the WDW MSEP unit to HK. I'd love to be a fly on the wall during the decision-making process when they changed their minds.

That plus the fact that the show encompassed the ENTIRE parade route was very impressive to me.

I really do tend to avoid Fantillusion and I really miss MSEP. Seeing it at DL in the 70's and 80's, DLP in the 90's, WDW in 2000, and DCA in the Aughts. I adore it, and can watch it again and again. It is the only parade Disney has done that I feel that way inclined.

The classic E-ticket rides like POTC and HM are now over 40 years old, but are nowhere near wearing out their welcome. Generally speaking, I agree that parades and shows have limited shelf life, but I think MSEP is in its own category, especially if it ever got redone in the States similar to what was done with Dreamlights at TDL.

I'd like to think that after creating parades like Fantilusion and TDL EP Dreamlights that Disney has the talent to make it happen. Having the will is a different matter, though. But, hey, good news ... WDW's 30th Anniversary Parade/100 Years of Dead Dude Walt/Snowglobe Hell WILL be replaced ... if you can wait another 18-20 months!
