So she's screaming and crying almost instantly, and that probably scared me more than the ride did. I rode it on a subsequent trip with my dad and loved it. Ironically, we only rode Toad that first trip because Alice broke down while we were in line, so we went around the corner to Toad. My sister was so scared by Toad that she wouldn't go on it OR Alice the next time, and Alice became her face dark ride when she finally screwed up the courage.

Like Disneyland’s Main Street Emporium I expect the park’s flagship souvenir shop to be fully stocked with a full range of resort merchandise not just Cars Land and miscellaneous character stuff. The point here is that all the shops sell the same thing, thus the overall shopping experience at DLR is very poor. “I got that shirt for my dad on our first trip to the DLR. Hehehe” I may just buy it online. I saw this one at the resort and almost bought it instead: http://www.doobybrain.com/wp-c...-tee.jpg On another note, I forgot to mention that we accidentally wandered into the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I still thought it was a souvenir shop, and boy was I in for a surprise. It’s scary in there. I wish someone could have taken a candid picture of my face or at least given me a warning. It’s not very often that my jaw drops to the floor, but all of those little girls in beauticians chairs with glitter all over the place was mind blowing. A dad laughed aloud at me when he heard me mutter, “I think we’re in the wrong place” as we dashed through the exit. Another interesting first was seeing a service dog in the park. Imagine my surprise when I saw the owner let the dog GET WATER FROM A PUBLIC DRINKING FOUNTAIN! Ewwww!!

Black water is turned ALMOST into clear water there. Clear water happens when it is pumped upstream on the Santa Ana River into settling ponds. Then it percolates down into the aquifer and back into the Disneyland drinking fountains. Tasty!

Every time we go, we check to see if the same waiter is working, but it seems like he gets shuffled around between places. One day, we saw him enjoying the park as a guest and came *this* close to stopping him for a picture or autograph. Luckily, we had not stopped by the outdoor patio yet, so our better senses prevailed
