They said that the sinuses might be affected, but having the operation isnt a guarentee that that problem will be solved. So it didnt seem worth doing. So he came home!! Brilliant news!

Most people are not just being nosey, most really care. But still, it can be overwhelming to have to repeat the story so many times. I hope Patrick is having a better day today. Hopefully the story is "old news" today and he can just get back to his normal day-to-day routine asap. I am with everyone else, Yay! no need for surgery.
