Today he gets his second puppy shot so I'll need a name to put on his vet records. Tiggerdis: you did what I was going to do, look up words matching Gold. Coincidentally one of those... "caramel" was what I wanted to name our previous Golden, because the color matched and he was so sweet. I also like the name Tawny, but for a girl not a boy. Tawny means light brown, which would match, but also because my favorite Los Angeles TV newscaster in the 80's was named Tawny [Little] Debtee: I have to LOL at Biscuit, comedian George Lopez uses that name when he stereo typifies average middle class caucasian family dogs. My girls [being Latina] crack up at that bit. They will get a kick when I suggest "Biscuit" I concur with Lisann22, "Buddy" is one of my favorite Blues artists, but alas, too many dogs named Buddy out there This morning the name "Autumn" popped in my head, because he was born in October and in the fall leaves turn golden brown. But Autumn sorta sounds more like a female name. Then I thought of "Sunny" because he's like a ray of sunshine, so bright and warm. I did a no no this morning [I couldn't help it] I know it's bad to teach poor habits but I was compeled, I woke up, found the puppy, took him back to our bed and he poucned all over us jumping around in the lil hills of comforters, lil growls and nibbling toes and everything. Gawd he's cute! Thanks for your comments, once we pick one, I'll post his name.

LOL ahhh brings back memories for me when I took Woody & Toby to their puppy classes. Woody was OBSESSED with Harriet, a St. Benard it was loveeeeeeee! haha Woody was top of his puppy class, he was a star and 5 years later is still a big show off! lol 6 months later Toby came along and my darling boy is just like Pluto, he really could not get a grasp of why we were at the classes, needless to say he was not top of his class, he marches to a beat of a different drummer and does things in his own time but we still adore him anyway! lol Good luck with your boy and more pix please BT!
