That isn't just any survey - it is the key number for capacity planning. MK only got the new FLE because that average dipped below 7 for the first time in MK history. The number 7 is sacrosanct.

The problem isn't the number of FPs issued under this scheme - it is the quality of the attractions that guests will receive with them - having to choose one from the likes of Splash, Space, BTMRR, HM, POTC etc. is going to be very difficult.

There is no doubt that this will increase the efficiency of the MK - more guests in more attractions that are often under-utilised like the Tea Cups but I'm struggling to see how this improves the guest experience.

In theory it means that some guests can't hog all the good rides and it puts everyone on a level playing field, but we all know real life usually deviates from "theory"

Even FP is democratic - everyone has to abide by the same rules (although the Unlimited FP is available to VIPs etc but they are minuscule in terms of issued numbers).

I get the need to maintain revpar and occupancy numbers and to offer more perks for resort guests but I'd be very worried about providing so many benefits over off-site guests and APers because when the market next tanks WDW will be reliant on their numbers.

I agree that the model will fall apart once the economy tanks they are in some real trouble. But until then they think they have a working model.

I still can't quite understand what Disney is getting back when you compare it to the amount of money spent. It doesn't add up for me.

Disney is trying to determine how the system deals with that issues. They thought that a lot of the CM's who were testing this weekend had the same task. Should be fun.

I did ask when the MagicBands and FP+ was going to be live in the parks and they were unsure. They are being told within the year though their feeling was that it might roll out in the fall.

That still seems earlier than I expected, but I'm glad it gives them time to work the bugs out before my January trip!

Testing seems to be going on weekly now and I know that some Cast Members are being challenged to try to break the system in the hopes that Disney can find the problems before it goes live.

That is too much! (Plus we almost always visit 2 parks a day - the Early Entry park first, then move on when it gets crowded.) And the thing that concerns me the most is talk of Fastpass+ only activities that I can't even stand in line for. What would those be? That has me worried!
