Even about half of the DLR section seems to be about how to approach it as a WDW regular, rather than discussing DLR news. And the international parks are hardly represented at all That said, it's a very active board (with plenty of interesting personalities), so it may be what you're looking for. Personally, I prefer LP and its ancient interface

I guess I will not move with the other ones. If LP is coming to an end, then so be it. I don't like the attitude over there. I stay here as long as someone posts, but if it ends, then my time on discussion boards is over.

I love it there, and I do bang heads with some of the participants including Spirit, but, overall it's a pretty good place. It's actually just about half way between this board and the DIS board which is very restricted.

"You might have to come back here for those heated Political discussions, because they are not allowed over there." No thank you. I had to leave WE because it was way too toxic. "However, there are many heated discussions some end good, some not so good and there are so many areas to post in that the worst part is finding your niche and before long you are just a part of the family." For me it's been pretty easy so far. There is a feature that allows you to place sections under "follow", and those are the only ones that I track. I'm primarily interested in general discussions about the domestic parks, foreign parks, Walt Disney, and TWDCO. I don't bother with the rest of it, but you have the option to visit all sections whenever you choose.

I never stick around a place where I am not wanted. They could prove me wrong in an INSTANT by deleting a half-dozen or fewer screen names. I've been a System Administrator... I know it would take LESS than a minute. But it hasn't happened. It will never happen. What does that tell you?

Don't be to much in their face and before long you will be able to comment with passion as an accepted member. I swear that if someone comes on and gives a questioning response, especially to some of the special people on the board the very first thing they look for is the number of posts and the first words out of their finger tips is "Troll". It is their favorite way to dismiss any discussion. I know that seems harsh, but, once accepted in, it can be a very interesting place to read and post.

I also have a pretty narrow focus, so I'm not following every conversation on every thread. I do agree that the pace there is much faster and there are a ton of tools so it's easy to get overwhelmed. "I swear that if someone comes on and gives a questioning response, especially to some of the special people on the board the very first thing they look for is the number of posts and the first words out of their finger tips is "Troll"." I'll never understand why some Disney fans take their obsession so seriously. It's almost like a religion for some people. I started here right after DCA opened and it was startling how passionately opinionated people were about the park and Disney management. If you so much as pointed out one tiny thing you liked about the place you could easily get labeled an apologist.

PhotoDave at times, but he's one of the main regulars so he posts A LOT.
