Which was a good idea, considering it's against community standards to name names. Just because 1 or 2 people consistently break the standards and get away with it, doesn't mean others should join in the game. This thread has turned really ugly. I have to say I'm extremely disappointed in many of you. I'd like to use stronger words, but I may regret it. The beauty that once was LP is officially gone. I agree about everyone falling under same rules, unfortunately thats not the case, I can think of 1 to 2 long time posters, (not you) who violate standards alot worse than those you are upset about, specifically on the WDW General Board, but I don't see the uproar about them...... Your complaint about double standards, has double standards of its own ;o)

I personally don't understand why people are being attacked. And I'm not talking about what happened in WE as I don't read that, but someone I happen to like a lot was attacked in community, and I still dont' understand why. No emoticons, no references to kidding around, but lots of strong statements with words in all caps. Now I can't say what DVC_dad was thinking when he wrote those posts. But I do not think I was nuts for thinking he meant those things seriously. I'd also like to add that I have e-mailed DVC_dad so we can discuss our difference of opinion off the boards, where it belongs. He seems a very decent person, and I have absolutely no desire to see him leave LP.
