It wasn't my intent to belittle the person. First, I wrote a factual, one-sentence post naming the poster. When that disappeared, I wrote a post in a style that was immediately recognizable as that poster's. I didn't realize either time that it was against the rules to "name names." For me, if the beauty of LP is diminished by any of this, it's by the hurt feelings and offensiveness put out by a handful of posters on a regular basis. It's not diminished by the community coming together to have a difficult (especially given the constraints) conversation about it, even if tempers might flare a bit.

Which of course the Inspector didn't do. Chalk me up for as a long time LP'er that's sick of the trollish behavior & doesn't come around nearly as much anymore due to it. I miss the days when you'd hear that voice calling out from the clouds of Doobie telling us all to play nice. You just always felt like this higher power was always watching you. Now hate just seems to run rampant. bah.

If it is, perhaps Doobie could clarify that for us.

Errr, maybe I'd better think a little longer about that one.

I do, however, consider myself quite familiar with the 2oons by way of reading their posts, and I can't think of anyone who isn't more deserving of some positive consideration. This topic at first really upset me. But, strangely enough, I am left with a feeling of contentment. Seeing all of you fine folks stick up for the 2oons is reason enough in my book to stay tuned to LP. Thumbs up to good friends!
