WASHINGTON (AP) -- The nation's top climate scientists are giving "An Inconvenient Truth," Al Gore's documentary on global warming, five stars for accuracy.

those who have seen it had the same general impression: Gore conveyed the science correctly; the world is getting hotter and it is a manmade catastrophe-in-the-making caused by the burning of fossil fuels.

There are many ice caps thaqt are melting away drastically, in fact there's one i read about in south america that used to be a major tourist ski resort, it had to close it's doors because the snow doesn't reach that high any more.

Sure we can pick at the cause and the findings but do we really want to do that?

And sure helping try to fix this problem will effect our economy, and way of life but it sure beats the alternative which is no existence left for humans. Kyoto is a really small bandaid on what we really need and it makes me laugh when people here in america don't want to even step up to and take the responsibility that the rest of the world is trying to take. We use 1/4 of the world resources and yet we won't step up...
