He subsequently did work for Gene Roddenberry so maybe he uses the "V" although I haven't seen him use it. I believe it was after that he became a pirate.

I believe that they will be meeting this weekend at or near Disneyland and the little girl is very happy. She and her family are very nice (I was there when the picture was taken).
