What I'm saying is that Pixar is no longer an independant company - they are now beholden to Walt Disney Co. mangagement's (Iger, et al) decisions. The animators in Emeryville are now technically employees of the Walt Disney Co. Thus, one would assume that if Disney wanted the artwork released there would be less red tape than before. Again, this an assumption, not an assertion.

Studios Entertainment felt it was better to maintain the existing relationship and line reporting than integrate fully.
