All you have to do is turn on the TV or go see a lot of American movies nowadays to see what American culture has come to. This is why I limit my movie viewing to those that have some thought and artistry behind them, including those made by Disney. IMO, Disney is one of the few bastions of Americana that still creates a fresh breath of air. And it is a very strong piece of our culture.

Regardless I still appreciate the DLR for what it represents. It's a special place created by a special man.

Although I think part of the charm of the ride is that it is built on two floors and starts outside. If it was build in a costume building I wouldn't see it working as well.
