I post it because some of it might come true. I've gotten the feeling over the past couple months that CMs in Disneyland, and even other Disney parks, are more aware of the fan sites, (as opposed to the brass who have better things to do), and might be passing on info just to see if it gets picked up by somebody, whether it is true or not.

His articles may have been done on management, but they always celebrated the parks, if that makes sense, and there was a jovial tone to them. The current Miceage crew seems to have taken Al's dislike of the park management, and generalized it into this cloud of free floating anger directed at Disney at large, the fans who like the parks, and are going as far as keeping interesting developments at Disneyland "out of the news" as far as Miceage is concerned. Miceage's number one goal is to make fans *hate* Disney, with the glib 'Alice in Blunderland' posts, and the snakiness regarding the Subs and how the attraction was finished and didn't wow guests anymore. I don't think there's much thought or work going on with Miceage these days, a lot of the stuff is recycled. One of the Disneyland updates had just a couple pictures and rambling nonsense about the AP passes and stuff.

The Disney company would NEVER make the stupid blunder you did saying the 60th will be based around Cindy cause she was the first princess. They know their own history but you don't you need to realize folks here know the Disney company and it's history VERY VERY well.

ORDDU: As for all the petty disagreements between Dusty Sage and Malin, that just goes to show how pointless it is to let things go as far as they went. Obviously there is more than a mere disagreement between those two. They seem to hate each other and that goes way beyond the original point that was being made, here. Again, everyone would be a lot better off if they just didn't take the various fan sites so seriously that it led to such unpleasant behavior. ORGOCH: Seems ta me some folks was just lookin' fer trouble an' it sure didn't take 'em long ta find it!!

Here are some points to consider: 1. The "Disney Company" is not a monolithic being, a lot of people who work for Disney don't know all the trivia. This is the case of group think on the part of those who think that you need to be a Disney fanatic to work for Disney. 2. The info I heard I probably jumbled, the person probably said something along the lines of "Cinderella as Your First Disney princess", or something like that and I made an error as I just posted the info without thinking about it much. I'm happy to admit my mistakes, Miceage . . . not so much. 3. Cindy is one of the most popular princesses, I think. Anyway, what I've heard is that at least one working group was tossing around the idea of "Her First" in connection with Cinderella, such as: Her First Carriage/Pumpkin Ride Her First Ball Her First Princess Costume Her First Princess (I guess a little girl watching a Disney princess movie for the first time or something.) Her First Kiss They're still thinking about several special 24 hr. Cinderella's Pumpkin Bash/Ball, or whatever they call it. With a park-wide transformation effect at midnight and special pumpkin treats such as pumpkin flavored bakery items.

I've read tons of Disney books, but obviously let a factual error slip-by as I relayed the info. See, that's how people admit their mistakes, something Miceage will never do. We get the old, "Disney changes their minds every second", even though it is obvious that Miceage is making stuff up. With Al Lutz, Miceage was performing a service for the fans, with the updates and some insider info, and with pointing out park maintenance issues. But the current incarnation of Miceage seems more focused on petty fights with Disney fans and with the Disney company, and with pushing their vision for the park which invariably involves the removal of beloved attractions to make way for a coaster. I knew about the club 33 expansion *way* before Miceage (way before a lot of folks ;-)), , and I actually know whose idea it was to 'refresh' the FL attractions for the 60th. I'll post an updated version of what I hear is evolving for the 60th, and I'm sure you'll be happy to lounge around the Goofy statue eating pumpkin flavored jelly beans or sipping a pumpkin flavored concoction waiting for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boom fireworks just like everybody else and will forget who told you in the first place, not that that's the point of all of this.

The flying cards around the Queen of Hearts make her look even more mad. But couldn't they at LEAST have kept the disembodied floating head of the Cheshire Cat? Do you have any idea how cool that was, going over the leaves and back into the castle, floating straight down to that thing, then making a quick turn into the Mad Tea Party? Oh, why.
