As I see more pictures and videos of Alice, I'm less enthused about the exterior work. I would scrap the scrollwork, and I would scrap the leaves on the railing. I've decided both are too much. A few decorations on the railing would be nice, but it is just too much, I think. Can't wait to see it in person . . . when I can afford it . . . maybe in 2018.

Does it matter? There's no justification for that kind of outrage from someone operating a Disney fan site. Again, assuming it's true his snarky email speaks volumes about his character.

I understand the reason to question it's authenticity. Especially with how over the top it is but I swear to you this is a genuine message from Dusty.

*** But they tend to present things as fact, i.e. "The subs will not be coming back after they close." Then, when this turns out to be untrue, they just fall back on "Disney changed their minds." ***

Exactly this is my issue with them. Yes Disney does change it's mind but not on the scale MiceChat wants us to believe. It's just an excuse for reporting wrong information. Fact is when the CEO is dismissing the Subs rumour like Bob Iger publicly did at the Shareholders Meeting and the site is still claiming to be right then it's ego and ignorance is just too much. When Dusty is canceling accounts and sending threatening messages for anyone questioning the site you have on your hands a very paranoid individual. Who feels Disney is out to discredit them but being the hero he is to the Disney online comunity this will not prevent him from reporting questionable information.

I don't hate Dusty because I have never met or spoken to the guy. You might like to think it's something more that has caused this event but sadly it's not!!! Dusty just can't seem to handle people questioning the crediblity of what him and Norman report. I challenge anyone to post a message in the comments section when the next update is posted questioning what's being reported and wait to see the response. The site is more heavily censored then what the Parks Blog is because at least Disney will post negative comments like the anger over the fountains closing at the Poly. Nothing negative will be tolerated by the site. That's why you will only view positive comments to the MiceChat articles. Truly a site posting rumours and encouraging feedback would welcome all sides of discussion.

I can't offer an exact qoute because the comments were deleted. But it was something along lines of

"Bob Iger has said that the Subs will be returning which contradicts what has been reported here. Credibility slipping away..."

I think your own views on European's need to be thought through properly before commenting on what other people write ;)

Maybe combine the two for something more fitting?

IKR? Even Alice was shocked and dismayed.

And, hey! Excellent coverage of the Alice reopening!!!

Thank you. I had planned to head down to the park on the morning of July 4 to catch the opening, and was a bit nonplussed to find it was doing a roaring business on the 3rd. (I had gone in to catch the Guardians of the Galaxy sneak peek for APs.) So the video and photos actually went to the site that night, and were posted on the 4th. Meanwhile, everyone was already hashing over other videos from other sites that also caught the soft open.

Making Pooh trackless would merely enhance the ride by adding the ninth (?) wonder of the world: the backside of nothing.

The only "enhancement" would be seeing the blank/unfinished backs of all the flats and ride elements. What you currently see is ALL that's there. Try riding it while looking backward next time, I doubt you'd call it an enhancement. (Although you will see the tribute to the CBJ - on a plain wall)

<<I wonder why they couldn't use both theaters?>>

The current ride DOES use both theaters.
