Try this next time: before you take a whiff of the Strawberry popcorn, hold your nose. Now, still holding your nose, eat a mouthful. You will notice... nothing! The strawberry popcorn has no taste whatever other than the popcorn - it's all in the smell. What's interesting is that natural strawberries don't really have a strong smell, but the strawberry popcorn smells like what strawberries taste like, so if you're not holding your nose, it kind of works. I think the apple popcorn is the same way.

Other flavors work the other way: they taste like what they're supposed to taste like, but have no smell. It all depends on whatever way they were able to engineer the artificial flavor.

I'll admit to buying a pair myself. I got the Westernland ones that look like you're wearing jeans and chaps, just because they're so ridiculous! Truly unique merchandise!

Even with the theme park mark-up (which didn't seem terrible at TDR) and import fees, that price seems outrageous! Does anybody actually buy them? It was great to see such unique merchandise in one of the shops, but I can't imagine that they ever sell any at that price point

For the most part, the crystal stuff seems reasonably priced; it's just a luxury item with a luxury price to reflect it. Cowboy boots, on the other hand, are typically an everyman type product, so the price was mindblowing to me

Whether the $900 pair at TDL would cost anywhere near $900 elsewhere is another matter.

If/when I venture back to TDR, I might have to poke my head in there and give it a better look!

FerretAfros: The theming of the restaurant is nothing to shout about. I don't like that aspect of the restaurant at all, but it does serve up good food. With the free-flow of drinks, I do feel that it provides good value at TDL. You should check it out in the future. Would love to know what you think about it.

By the way, I'm going to upgrade the site soon. I'm hoping to get the new site up and running by September, so there might be a couple of weeks at the end of August whereby I won't be able to add new blog posts. I wanna pretty up the site. I hope that you guys will enjoy what's coming up. I'm really excited about sprucing up the site. Cheers.
