We were stuck by a lattice divider in the very back, and we couldn't even see the water and barely could see the boats passing by. To think that was probably our last visit (due to the increased prices) just really saddens me. But I'm sorry, I refuse to pay $19 for a sandwich - anywhere. It's just the principle, really.

As long as my kids are well behaved an respectful, why should you give a care what they eat. If you don't like what I do at my table, don't look. And as for the backpack thing, we take ours everywhere in the park, including restaurants. And how different is it if I take something out of my backpack then if you go digging in your purse for your lipstick?

I will at least feed the kids before we go in and order them jello there. But whatever I choose to do it's my business, and Disneyland management. If they don't care, then neither should anyone else. We have pictures of our then 13 month old devouring sushi....which we later would regret since the 13 month old is now 18 and we have to take out a small bank loan when we all go out for Sushi...The boy can eat!!!! The Fullerton Childcare Agency has been highly praised over the years (714 528 1640) I have never used them as my children were too old by the time we have heard of them. I have used a Babysitting Service before and both (parental units and children) were happy

Not exactly the most upscale restaurant. BTW, I don't think it was harsh at all. We who take food in, or want to, were called "tres tacky", so busybody is appropriate to me. Anyone who wants to come glare at us, we will probably be there in early Nov., so come glare away. PS--how good/bad a parent would I be if I left my precious children who mean the world to me with a perfect stranger? PSS--haven't been to Denny's since I was a kid, but at least if we ate there my kids would eat off the menu for less $, and actually like the food.

I don't care if it's dark with candles, it's a restaurant inside a theme park ride.< This seems to be the point you are missing. The new restaurant will indeed be a fancy restaurant, much more upscale than it has been in the past. It will be a far more egregious error to bring in your own vittles for the kids than it might have been in the past. It remains to be seen how strict Disney will be with this new property, but I'm betting that your own food won't be allowed.

This arugement has been had over and over on these boards. The sitting services are screened, licensed and carry heavier background checks than a licensed day care. I've read dozens of reviews from people who have used them, here on the boards, and every one of them has raved about the services. All of the indignant posts in this topic have really gotten amusing.

I wouldn't leave my kids with a daycare provider I didn't know, EVER! Therefore, it is a bigger risk than I'd take leaving them with another daycare provider.

Wonders how the sandwich will taste with out the Cajun chicken caeser salad???

Higher prices do not constitute a fancy restaurant-and it STILL is in a theme park. IMHO, calling the Blue Bayou a fancy restaurant is like calling the GCH a top hotel-it's not. While the GCH may be nice, I have stayed at much nicer-ones that don't give guests SLEEPING BAGS to sleep in! But here again it is a nice property located in a theme park just like the BB.
