Have to agree piece of chicken w/mashed potatoes and apple sauce. Probably one of the healthier meals in the park for kids.

At Rancho Del Zocala I believe they offer a kids cheese burrito meal and I believe a taco plate but I'm not sure about that.

At Redd Rockets you get get spaghetti and cheese ravioli.

There is a lot of variety you just have to look for things.

some of the menus and prices are a little out of date but it will give you a good idea.

FWIW, my kids have always loved the kids meals at Blue Bayou. Even the "yucky" corn on the cob.

And with Matt stating that he wanted to make BB THE premier Restaurant, certainly the type and availability of alcoholic beverages, would certainly have a direct effect on it's rating.

Kids menu I'm betting on Micky shaped pb&j, which I will have to order one just jelly and one just peanut butter. My boys are so weird! My dd will eat off the adult menu.

I got really excited when I saw "chicken caesar" at Cafe Orleans because their cajun chicken caesar salad was one of my all-time favorite dishes at Disneyland, but then I noticed it wasn't the same. I might try it for the heck of it anyway. I'll probably have the gumbo crepes. I'm not a crepe fan, but I love gumbo, so that should be interesting. Mac and cheese, but only on the kid's menu. *sigh*

We also had the 3 cheese Monte Cristo, which my DS declared "Awesome" (and I agree) and we had the pomme frites which were also "awesome" He especially loved the sauce that comes with the fries and we ended up asking for more of that.

As long as you are indulging in such foods, you might as well go all the way...meaning we also shared orders of the benigets and Chocolate crepes. I can't eat chocolate, except tiny bites, so I don't think I got the whole experience there, but it seemed good. The Mickey benigets were terrific -- better than some I have had in New Orleans.

It was near the end of the day for the restaurant (they close early because of Fantasmic) but the service was gracious and never rushed. Highly worth the price. Calorie-wise, I can't eat like that every time, but if you are going to indulge, these would be the best accumulated calories in the park.
