That said, it rankles me that Disney did another chop job just like with the China film. They shortened both by about five minutes, which is very significant, and STILL edited in old footage. Sorry, but that's cheap and tacky ... and you can tell even if you've never seen the old version. While I enjoy the new Reflections of China, I can't help but think I'm watching a sitcom clip show.

While I was blown away by the circlevision in DL back in '67. I'm just not a big fan of them anymore. I knew when I bought my first color TV it was going to throw my technical preferences out of whack. I may or may not watch it.

I think it lasted about 10 years or so until replaced with something about sound for cartoons (101 Dalmatians, I think), then eventually Drew Carey's Sounds Dangerous. I'm sure somebody can remember better what show played between Monster Sound Show and Sounds Dangerous. I never got to see that show.
