How accurate is that? If you saw it with your own eyes, is the only way I'm going be believe that. All those CM "flying" stories have always been considered bunk.

And yeah, it wasn't the first. World Fest in 1982-3 has that title with "No Place Like World Showcase"

    ...With Polka. *shudder*

Yes Merf I am pretty much brain dead. However Ferret is a youthful intelligent young man that just made his first drinking around the world trip not to long ago.

He was merely helping an old man out in recalling something from his past. Now I would like to publicly apologize for using up your valueable space on Dobbie's web site.

While I may be brain dead, THANK GOD, I am not an obnious twit that gets banned from Disney Forumns.

Hey now, some of my friends have been banned from a Disney fan site!

Anyway. If they ever do another parade at EPCOT, they need to alleviate the crowding issue. WS's walkways are not big enough to support a parade, and Tapestry was a nightmare for people who didn't want to watch it.

It was a great parade, but issues would need to be corrected before I'd say, "Bring it back."

    Examples please.

How about if they only ran it halfway around the WS like they started doing with ToD? I have to admit it was miserable over there by the UK, and Canada, until they eliminated that side of the parade.

I loved ToN, and I would like to see it again, but I really didn't mean to bring the original production back.

Just have something on the scale, and magnitude of ToN. I don't watch parades, but I watched that almost every night we were there for as long as it ran.

Again, I loved the parade, but logistically it was a nightmare.

i hate the plexiglass because little brats will put their hands all over it leaving smuges but there are too many dumb visitors that might want to get close.

the restaurant in the pavillion could be called Tangiers and they could have a server named Rafi

There should be a mini replica of Taj Mohol

First off, the Nile is in Egypt, which is part of Africa. India is in southern Asia, about 3,000 miles away. Secondly, Tangiers is a city in Morocco. Morocco is already represented in the World Showcase, and even has a restuarant called Tangiers Cafe.

I do like the idea for the snake charmer, but I wonder how easy it will be to have on a daily basis, and how PC it will be (both for the animal rights folks and the stereotypes folks).

Well, describing the guy as "swarmy" isn't a good start. But, besides that, folks who distrust cultural stereotypes, already don't think highly of World Showcase.

Hey Jack I know that. In fact everybody knows that don't they.

I only messed up the Tangiers thing because it sounds like Burma, Nile talk, India, Saudi Arabia or Moraccan. It sounds like many places.

But I got "Rafi" right. I once knew an Indian boy named Rafi and he worked at Hotdog on a Stick.
