I'm actually planning on taking a few friends out, I'll have you know. ... But it would still be nice to get a few free meals too!

~It isn't too late to sign up for the 'Take a Spirit to Dinner' Program ... fully tax deductable too!~

Sorry, I'm grumpy, the state of Mass declared a state of emergency for hurricane Earl, everything on tv was about Earl. We maybe got 5 drops of rain here, even my daughter who lives just northeast of Boston said she was out walking her dog during it.

Is this why you want me to email Lee!? YAY!

    :-D

I was worried for you guys...and then it turned out to be nothing. LOL.

Glad you are getting your share of alarmist weather media, though. In Miami, if so much as a cloud farts in the Caribbean, we have a "Severe Weather Alert", as my Dad crudely, but accurately states.

Me, of course. When I TAKE someone out, I PAY for them. I am many things, but a cheap Spirit isn't one of them!

It's kewl. Disney has loads of merchandise themed for ya! ;-)

I guess it's the better safe than sorry approach. And I'd rather see a hurricane go anywhere in the USA (except New Orleans) than here ... we've had enough this past decade. Let it be someone else's turn.

But weather hysteria is good for local TV ratings, so they always overhype. In LA, it was the extreme heat and flash floods and t-storms in the high desert ...

~Nasty thunderstorm happening here right now!~

Ok, so... next time I'm in WDW, you'll be there and take me out to V&A as a thank you for introducing you to their fine cuisine on the trip on which I gave you a free place to stay. :p

The media, and the Government love to hype things up just to make you feel like they are providing a service to you.

You should see how bad it is here. The local news starts hyping anything the minute that it forms in the Atlantic off the coast of Africa. It's always a study in Armegaddon 101.

No thanks. We got Rita in 2005, and Ike in 2008! Not to mention the half a dozen tropical storms that flooded the city in that time frame.

I hope it's better than the cold left over pizza, and luke warm tap water they get when visiting you at your house!

It's not as bad as a hurricane, but it still sucks big time.
