As for the meet and greets, I think it's a good idea overall, but why do they need to have a huge budget, why not just have a charecter stand in front of the castle and have an imprompto line form, you still get to meet the charecter and it doesn't cost disney a dime. and then the moeny you save can be put into new things, like rides. BTW does anyone think the B and B resturant will take the shine off of the cinderella's table? I mean think about it, once it's done rather then eating and meeting the charecters you can go into their homes and meet them ,plus with the new B and B resturant I just don't see Ciny's table having much appeal anymore, maybe they could move her meet and greet up there. and then move the other ones to approiete areas to theme it better. just a thought.

After all, she IS one of my best princess friends. Of course I love ALL the Disney princesses and don't enjoy seeing any of them put down. They each have unique qualities that appeal to different fans for various reasons. It just seems silly to refer to any of them as 'second class' or to say they don't deserve their proper recognition. I mean, really!! How would such critics like somebody to say that about THEM?! It's mean spirited and Mickey Mouse would be shocked to hear anybody put down a single member of his animated family. Even the so-called 'least popular' of all Disney animated features has something worthwhile to talk about and admire. Personally, I would just love it if every single animated Disney film had an attraction to honor it at the parks!!

That said, I'm sure the Coloring Book Cottage Adventure will be magical and worth the price of admission.

God - Don't let Malin read that!!! He LIVES to meet the characters and go to the princess shows!!! Oh and hista - could you please start proof reading your posts before sending them? It's getting harder and harder to read them.

To be fair though, they have been left saddled with a pig of a theme park and have no choice but to put lip stick and mascara on it. Short of bulldozing the entire sorry state of affairs and starting again from scratch, all the designers and imagineers can do is just plonk in Es and Ds and hope the crowds show up. It didn't really work with ToT but the sheer amount of cash they are throwing at the rubbish pile that is there may just be enough to lure the curious in.

I am so looking forward to Florida's Fantasyland "feeling" more like the quality of Disneyland Paris and CA. I see water!! Ponds, waterfalls, bridges, multilevel areas and complete gorgeous charm. I am psyched. How cool would it be to have the dragon from the Paris castle have a home in the Sleeping Beauty area. I hear the concern. And I do wonder if I will feel comfortable participating in the "meet the princess" experience as an adult "sans child" for that matter - is this geared more towards the little girls only? By nature of "princess" I suppose the answer is 'yes' My hope is the new areas are as welcoming for me as an adult "sans child" as the BEAST LIBRARY is at the Animation Building in DCA. Now THAT place is cool. If the new MK areas have that level of experience, then for me, this is a much needed and welcomed addition. I can't believe I am getting excited about this park again. It feels good. And it has been a LOOONG time since MK got "my motor" going

So for next June for GAY DAYS, I will spend my time at Universal and just buy a one-day ticket for the MK Saturday gathering - just like I did last year. --->> leobloom lol ... sign me up for the Fantasyland expansion lol ... hey, as long as you're not bitter YOu gave me a good laugh. Thanks! <<but it seems to me to be more like fully realized version of Storybookland. No miniatures here -- this is the full scale model! >> Wow! - great observation and well said. I like that perspective. Great way to think of this expansion... now if they could get the casey jr train going around the whole area ... *psyched* How about the ALICE maze from Paris near the tea cups?

By now you can see the true reflection of her popularity in terms of merchandise. Plus the character is seen in the parks more often than certain other characters who used to eclipse her. Why, every time my sisters and I visit a Disney theme park, there are swarms of little girls running around wearing Aurora costumes! (One time we even encountered a full grown man in drag as Aurora; but that's another story for another time.) ORWEN: Yeah! So stop snortin' your OWN brand of pixie dust and catch up with the rest of us. You're just seeing what you wanna' see instead of what's really going on. ORGOCH: Got a dang tiara?

Years later they opened Mickey's Birthday land which had a maze and small playground.

After the hype of Expedition Everest I was able to squeeze in a trip to WDW from a family get together in Atlanta GA. And boy was I disappointed that after all this planning, driving and money spent, the Yeti decided to blow his gasket the day before and was in 'B' mode the entire time we were there. And from what I can gather, it was then that the stress fractures were discovered and he hasn't been moving since. Instead of wasting more money on M & G crap, how about repairing the broken, million dollar "STARS" of the show that you have. BTW, haven't been back since and the next planned trip to FLA is for Harry Potter, not Disney.

Originally Posted By WilliamK99 You know for some stupid reason I get the feeling that those birthday cards for Aurora will probably become keepsakes for the person that creates them...Now that is all warm and fuzzy...And isn't that sort of the idea here?<< At Disneyland Paris, last Christmas, they had an area where you could write a letter to Santa, and then mail it to him. Well my son did that and he got a letter back from Santa Claus thanking him and reminding him to be good. A couple weeks ago, my 6 year son asked to go to Disneyland Paris before Christmas so he can be sure to mail another letter to Santa.... So out of all the reasons to want to go back to DLP, he chose to write a letter to Santa... I think alot of these adults on here need to look at things through the eyes of a child. Sure we might not like the coloring area, but Disney isn't designing this area for us, they are designing it for children....
