Now I'm sooo confused.<< I don't believe in that reasoning, but alot of Disney fans these days are stuck in this mindset that every single attraction Walt Disney designed was for the entire family, with no rides specifically for adults or for children.... I am sure in 1955, the kids loved the Bathroom of Tomorrow.... In the new Fantasyland, there are areas just for kids, but they also are putting in the Little Mermaid Ride which is for the entire family....

Whenever Matel releases a new Disney princess doll, they always sell out of Aurora. I will check Louisiana to Florida and cannot locate her in a single store. When I ask the employees, they say she is always the first to sell out. So Leobloom, you are surely incorrect about your statement of her not being popular. I also find her tale to be one of the most exciting of the classics. It would make for a great show. We already have B&B and TLM show at the Disney Studios and there have been plenty Cinderella themed shows in front the castle. It's time for a Sleeping Beauty show. It would be a great addition to the park. I do hope they'll do more with the cottage than just make it a coloring station. As I suggested in an earlier post, they should make it a bakery with a section of it a coloring center. We already have a restaurant confirmed. Why not a bakery?

Will they change the faires costumes so they can talk? at DL they are face Charecters, but i beleive at WDW they have masks, which is interesting to me, its one of the few places where the costumes are diffrent, then the other resorts version.

I was around before and after Disneyland Fantasyland redo, and it made a huge difference. Ride wise, not so much except for Pinocchio being new (which is often rumoured to be ripped out of Paris). Most of it was cosmetic, but it made a huge difference. At DLP, the Fantasyland there, like the other FL's around the globe, is still mainly child orientated, but it is sooooo beautiful, as an adult, it is still very enjoyable, including the HIGHLY themed shops (something WDW has very little of comparitively). So, every trip I have made to WDW in adulthood, I have found the mk wanting, especially in the poor excuse for a Fantasyland. This new plan will add a huge amount of ambience, an e-ticket, two fab dining facilities, and a bunch of themed meet and greets, which although not my thing, they are hugely popular. And with Toontown Fair going (YAY - horrible area), it's a solid replacement that will also have eye candy that will be more interesting for the adults having to endure the areas. I have come to understand that for some families, especially those that did not grow up with Disney parks, the whole reason for going is for the characters (sad, but true at DLP especially). This one I see as a great compromise, and a bigger gain that DL had when the redo was done in the 80's. Add in the virtual queing for Dumbo (nicking the idea from Legoland) as an experiment, I actually applaud them for this one. Now if something like this was happening in the other lands, I would not be so happy, but this seems like a good plan. And be glad you are not being treated like Paris right now, with the horrid Toystory Playland being built instead....

WDW on the other hand, when FL is completed, I may have to take a trip there to check it out...

I also like the idea of the castle walls, with this new area beyond it. I hope the meet and greets are a bit more elaborate than usual, it would seem so based on what has been shown/discussed so far. I wonder if the Belle storytime area will transform...would be a great spot for a permanent Alice in Wonderland greeting area.

(From the same co. that brought you Horizons, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Maelstrom,'it's a small world', American Adventure, etc.)
