If the Alladdin Carpets are gone that alone would make me happy. Fantasyland is going to be great.

Why not redo the facades and walkways on the west side unless someone gave them some sort of funding cap that they couldn't go past? I wish they were going further with this too. I hate the tents. But I'd rather have what we saw today, than no expansion at all.

At least us cauldron girls see plenty of men and boys visiting the parks whenever we go. If they didn't want to be there, they wouldn't go. ORDDU: But we're right there with you in support of NOT doing things on the cheap. Perhaps after we all get a chance to experience exactly what is being planned--after it's open--we'll be pleasantly surprised. ORWEN: If I'd had my way, they would have had a Pinocchio attraction like the one in California added to the mix. But I love the princesses so much I'm happy for Ariel, Belle, Cinderella and especially Aurora!!!

It's going to be sold and marketed as the answer to Harry Potter, and THE.NEXT.BIG.THING. And on that level I don't think it measures up. Too heavy on the character interactions, not enough "punch" on the attraction side. I also wonder if there was not a way to keep Mickey & Minnie's house. I'm not sure removing them is the best idea.

ORDDU: Then there's to be a circus with performances going on near the Dumbo attraction. I think it's much too soon to say this is your typical meet and greet area with only painted plywood backgrounds behind the princesses. No, this appears to be just what is needed for a proper Fantasyland expansion. ORWEN: My only disappointment will be if they don't keep the homes for Mickey, Minnie or Donald. Are they really going to be evicted from Toon Town? And will there even BE a Toon Town after all is said and done? Surely the Big Cheese, himself, deserves a home in his own theme park!!!

Really, I'd be ecstatic about these plans if they had also included a C- or D-ticket dark ride. As it is, there just seems to be a lot of wasted space in these plans. (Not to mention the "old" Fantasyland dark rides could have used some attention, too. Maybe they'll get refurbs between now and then?) I'm sure the expansion will look wonderful, but all I can say is the Little Mermaid ride better be an E+ ticket. If it's not the greatest thing since Mansion, this expansion is going to feel like a disappointment.

BTW I read an article about how WDI will be moving Mickey and Minnies houses to another section of WDW. Anyone know where I can't think of where these houses will fit in?? maybe the studios??

I would have liked to see more balance in the variety of attractions offered. And considering how much space they seem to be taking over, it would be nice to see an additional ride also.
