Because when you think about it, Disneyland's Fantasyland just added one attraction (pinnochio) the rest was heavy cosmetic changes. but the thing that bothers me about this redo is that they are making sound like the biggest thing that has ever happened to the magic kingdom. But in reality it just elaborate meet and greets, most of which are specifically geared to young girls. Meet and greets are fine in moderation, but they shouldn't comprise the entire land. It would be like when disneyland was trying to invest in Bear country that instead of building splash mountain, they built a song of the south meet and greet, and then a winnie the pooh meet and greet and other disney animal story meet and greet. there needs to be a balance of shops, attractions, meet and greets, and restraunts.

I'm sorry if I turned your stomach with my remark. And for the record I have been to WDW well over 100 times starting the year the park opened. I didn't just discover WDW recently. As I said in my first post, I'm tired of people trashing things before they give them a chance, talking about how cheap Disney is before they have even broken ground, and generally bashing all things Disney. I shall leave you all now. Haved a Magical Day.

I really wanted 7:30, but this was the only time avaiable. The nice CM told me to keep checking back just in case somebody cancelled. She also said the menu should be posted online sometime in 2012, but she thought it was going to be a rotating buffet. Also didn't know if the show was going to have AA's in it or live performers. Just remember who you are hearing this from.

Occasionally there is a nervous laugh of the "Did he just say 'make birthday cards for Aurora's sweet sixteen'?" nature. Huge response to the Little Mermaid attraction. And a cheer goes up when the restaurant is announced. I'm sorry but when there is a major new addition announced, and the second best thing is a restaurant, I don't think that's a very good sign.

Originally Posted By dshyates "Honestly, I've always seen Harry Potter as a girls franchise," Me too. But I think the boys will be more accepting of TWWOHP than Princessland. And there is definitely more adventurous attractions at TWWOHP than Princessland. So it will appeal to an older demo.
