Yes, he was only in DL, and only actually in the ride for a very short time (days or a couple weeks) when it first opened, because the disappearing/reappearing head effect wasn't especially successful. He was positioned inside the attic, roughly where the old (silent) bride used to be

A cartoon version of him appeared on a lot of early promotional material, and his face is used for some of the framed photos hanging in the Corridor of Doors on the ride

Peter Pan. Meh. How long does that nursery scene last anyway? Count me in as one who is concerned that the already horrible line for that ride is about to get MUCH worse. FastPass please???

    Hatbox a Ghost: cool.

You see it for maybe 2 seconds and it barely moves. I get being startled by it as a kid, but I'm surprised that you still find it scary.

If I'm not mistaken, his face is also used on one (or more?) of the gorillas in the Jungle Cruise. Same mold, just a different color fur and body shape

Yep. There's a lot to be said for the element of surprise with these sorts of things. In that light, I'm glad that they're being vague with the details, but it's still dripping with the corporate Disney-branded-Magic-(R)-TM that just doesn't work for me

    Can I stifle a snort? :p

I was startled inside the big cave on the Pirates version of TSI where you look inside one of the cave openings and suddenly a skeleton pops up. After decades of just looking inside those things and seeing static displays, it was startling.
