I honestly think that idea has been blown out of proportion by fanbois. I've never liked it.

    However, nothing surprises me.

That it is, but I think that it will have some rides, at the core of it, like in FL, that could be sent to FLE, first.

Probably, as Rapunzel is moving in there.

I'm just surprised that Jim Hill hasn't picked up on what you have posted, and run with it.

Jim is aware of the situation. I expect an article from him in the future.

-The possibility that the land can still expand around the Circus area. That is, if the Circus is expendable. And I realize it could be like Toontown Fair and hang around well past its expiration date.

-Getting rid of Snow White's dark ride. It's a pitiful attraction. Only reason I ride it is because the line is usually less than 10 minutes.

    Things I don't like about Lee's report:

-Dumbo's Circus. It's almost like the one person on Earth who thought Chester and Hester was a good idea, decided to put a circus in the MK. This has the potential to be as charming as a redneck tailgating party in Gainesville.

-The M/G in place of Snow White. If a ride doesn't eventually replace the M/G, that will be a missed opportunity. Much like changing the Star Tours film every few years. I'm not convinced a ride will replace this M/G. Fingers crossed.

-The Mine Coaster. *Sigh* I'm very glad they added a second ride to FLE, but I'm wondering how this is going to turn out. How much space is there for a coaster in this area? I understand it might be a dark ride/coaster combination, but I'm still expecting this to be a very brief ride (like the Barnstormer) with...dwarves? I dunno, I mean I've seen the dwarves' mine in the current dark ride and it's less than impressive. Why do I want to ride a coaster through there? (I'm only being a little faceticious.) I was really hoping we'd get a dark ride for a brand new movie--Alice or Dumbo or really anything but Snow White. But I am very curious to see what they do with this new mine coaster ride.

And you know for sure it's coming? Because if it is, I'd be thrilled to get some confirmation besides a few emails I've gotten in the past few days.

Also, they went and rehabbed it several years ago--making it better than it originally was. Since this was the first feature length animated film from Uncle Walt it deserves to be honored with a permanent attraction. They should just keep upgrading it every so often.

I don't think so. And DL's recently got an upgrade with a couple of nice special effects that are, of course, absent in MK's.

Go to Google Earth and take a look at the footprint of Big Thunder Mountain. Look at the middle portion of the Fantasyland Expansion. Now I don't think this new ride will be the scope of BTMRR, but I am just pointing out that there is plenty of space for a fantastic attraction. Especially... if you think in three dimensions.
