You don't have to be right at the hub to get an optimum view - there are several different optimum views, if you will.

Especially with the new parade, it seems like the best way to deal with a lot of people trying to fit into a small space. It seems like it should work much better than WDW's approach, which is to go all-in on the hub-based entertainment with the new hub layout they're building; that just seems like it's inviting a crowd control nightmare year-round Although it wasn't very well advertised (it may have been a reactionary measure after they saw the crowding problems) I enjoyed watching Remember in front of iasw. They had projections that went along with the show, and filled in many of the moments where nothing was happening in the sky. That is the reason that we originally got the projectors back there (which later proved to be incredibly popular at Christmas and even had a couple shows of their own), so it's not an entirely new concept. They're just doing a much better job of spreading everything out this time, with several good locations, instead of a primary and a "well, it's better than nothing, I guess" spot

However, u won't be able to see tinker bell and memo.

We didn't get the full view up Main Street, but it was still really incredible. If you want the full Main Street view you will have to stake out a spot really early, at least if the park is as crazy busy as it was that day.

If it's like the MSEP the 2nd show will have a lot fewer people. I was thinking we might stake out a good viewing spot in front of the Castle while everyone is watching the parade and then catch the 2nd performance... if we're not too tired.
