No. But it looks to be a nice improvement for the area with a small budget and a very small foot print for an attraction. Also, it is not even finished yet. I'm sure it will look even better when finished.

One the one hand, from a visual standpoint it's less unique than the Orange; the new redress doesn't stand out as much. On the other, it is better themed to the new Pier, which is supposed to be Victorian. Getting rid of all the tragically hip theming and going all-retro is probably the correct choice...but the ride itself is still rather ho-hum.

As for the ride, I think it will be more fun now, even if it does look more generic. My biggest problem with the orange was that it blocked the views from the ride. Yah, the view is similar to the Golden Zephyr, but there's just something about having your legs dangling out there that makes you want to be able to have a great view. I don't think I've been on a swing ride anywhere that has a view even close to the Pier (most are some trees or other rides a little further away than the orange was), so that will be pretty neat. Plus, it looks like a jewel, so it can't be bad, right?

For what it's worth, the Oregon game was the only game I didn't go to this season, so that must have been the reason we lost. Because having me at the other ones seemed to make them do so well...oh, wait...
