In other words, vote with your money if you feels strongly, you can't control what other people think and have some faith and allow other opinions to be valid. I probably could have used an "and" instead of a comma, or heck even a separate paragraph. Bad grammar, it happens to the best of us at times. The use of own was also redundant. Also, it wasn't even directed at you, it was just a general observation based on comments from all parties. All this drama doesn't make the ride go back or get better, it's an amusement park ride, not Egypt admitting that Israel has a right to exist. And with that, I've said my peace. Argue amongst yourselves, I'm off to make double-entendre semi-inappropriate comments that take a few weeks for someone to understand. Originally Posted By SpokkerJones "In other words, vote with your money if you feels strongly" I do. "you can't control what other people think" I am not trying to. "All this drama doesn't make the ride go back or get better" So no matter what happens at the park, those who don't like the changes should not say anything? "Maybe this topic should have been merged with the stupid things to complain about thread..." Thank you for the insult. Maybe I should suggest that you lobby the owners of LaughingPlace to create a Disney Apologist forum for you to post in, but only the "whiners" and "complainers" get insulted on Disney boards. That's perfectly within the rules.

Having a CM sign you in isn't talking with your money - You are still in the park just for free. Why doesn't everyone who hates it (since you said there is no middle ground) start writing letters about how horrible it is. If there are enough of you maybe you will be heard. Probably sooner than you will be here.

"If there are enough of you maybe you will be heard. Probably sooner than you will be here." Actually, I don't think I'll be heard by writing a letter anymore than complaining on the Internet.

It's by water - the lagoon. 2. Most early 20th century seaside amusement areas had a "mermaid/sea" type themed attraction. 3. The park is no longer a "California Only" theme .. not with Pixar around now. And I predict with the rumored name change ... they will only have a loose connection to a California theme. >>But I am fine with the few characters in IaSW... from what I have seen and read, it appears to me they are treating the ride with respect. You're taking a more "Moderate" approach. Not quite Democrat .. not quite Republican .. but a Moderate. ;-) (Pardon the metaphor.)

I just think the dollars spent on designing new characters/scenes, building the props, recording new audio, etc. could have been spent on freshening up some other area of the park that actually needed it."

Is your glass half empty or half full? It would probably be intrusive to that poster on Mice Chat if it was one or two percent of the dolls. <<I just don’t understand the point of these changes.>> The ride was in BAD shape. Since they had to do some major work anyway, they decided to do a little bit more... plussing, if you will. Obviously, not everyone feels it is a plus, but some do.
