    So how would this fit with all the Nextel transmission towers that have been erected all over property? Doesn't Disney have a business relationship with Nextel?

    The reason it goes down and then up again and is so long is that it's going underneath the railroad track.

    any way SSE is I think one of the last old school attractions in the park
    a nice refurb and new sponsership
    but please dont change the root of this great attraction

    The queue/tunnel for Space Mountain. It's a long, underground tunnel. From ground level in Tomorrowland it goes down for a while, and then comes back up, since it's passing underneath the railroad tracks. The exit does the same thing.

    So that adds to the sponsorship soup.
