Some buildings are equipped with internal cell station antennas for in-building reception. I wonder how many, if any, Disney buildings have this.

I hate watching baseball games and seeing a handful of idiots EVERY single game on a cellphone waving. Yes that's great that you're in a seat visible by the cameras but do you really have to call your entire address book and stand up and wave every time your in the camera's view? Argggg.

I mean HKDL's is totally identical to WDW, down to the picture on the wall of Toad handing the deed to Owl. Very disappointing indeed they could not improve this one version for the new park.

I mean, why would there ever be a need for Toad to be handing Owl a deed? It was a cute little reference in Orlando where it made sense. Why put it in HKDL other than abject stupidity? A picture of anything would have made more sense. Yes, a small point. But look at the big picture of what the small one represents.

Not the standard tourist of the US or of China. Unless you're a world hopping park stormer, it doesn't make the slightest difference that something in HKDL is a clone of a WDW version. In fact, it makes a lot of sense for Disney to save on the design bucks and maybe, just maybe put that money to better use (like new and better attractions here at home!).

I have to agree with that - people still condemn PotC at WDW as just being some cheap shorter clone/cliff notes etc but I love that ride and being someone who doesn't get a chance to out to DL almost ever (nor really want to) I'm very happy that it was added to Florida. I do think that PotC and the aforementioned Pooh in HK are ifferent though - While re-doing rides other places can be a good thing I think they should still have a little originality - keeping Mr. Toad's Deed picture really is just stupid. I didn't realize old Thaddeus owned undeveloped land in Hong Kong in addition to his former central Florida Toad Hall. I think that there's a catch 22 with the whole re-doing rides though. Especially when it comes to people from SoCal. They love it when a big, successful attraction from another park moves into their nearby Disney Resort but when a version of one of THEIR rides gets shipped someplace else they get all greedy. Moreso if the ride is great in its original the people who get the ride either get upset that they get a changed version or think it's not as good (ToT) as the original and if it's too similar it's a "Cheap Disney Clone." I don't know what people want - they want it all I guess. They want you to re-build great attractions from other resorts near them but not only build them but make them -better- even if the ride is already heralded as amazing all the while they'll say how disgusting it is that Disney re-uses rides in places as opposed to developing new ideas. People please - it's not feasible to bring you the ToTs, Soarin's, Splash Mountains, etc all the time AND keep making amazing, e-ticket caliber rides. I swear people on these boards will never be happy sometimes :-\
