Consider all of the travelers and use Walgreens as their regular, home-town pharmacy. If they are on regular medication, and happen to run out or lose their supply while traveling, they can get refills on their existing prescriptions at that Walgreens. Or, if they get sick, some people will phone their regular doctor who will call in a prescription (legal as long as the doctor as physically seen the patient within the past year). I suspect that chain pharmacies in tourist areas do a great deal of prescription business of this type.
