It was one of those "I can't believe I'm here" moments. I suggested to my family that we see Phantom of the Opera, and they both loved it, especially my sister. I know you and hubby have already seen Beauty and the Beast, so I'm not sure if you want to see it on stage. I guess Raven-Symone's friend is doing the role now after Kim Possible left. I believe Monty Python's Spamalot is still playing. What else, what else, what else...ah, the Statue of Liberty. I got really emotional when looking at her and... Yes, FiveBearRugs is capable of human feeling and perhaps an occasional tear-shed. 99.9% of the time, he is downright evil. Remember that. Evil. Anyway, the Statue is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful and the view of the city from the island is pretty cool too. Make sure you go to the World of Disney Store on 555 Fifth Avenue. It was nice to buy REAL Disney merchandise as a REAL Disney Store; I almost forgot what it was like. What else did we do? Ah yes, Empire State Building, NBC Studio Tour, taping of The Today Show, dinner at Tavern on the Green. We did see NY's Finest take down a mugger in Times Square. Alas, we didn't have any time for museums. Perhaps next time. If you want you can check my photo album; the link is in my LP profile and when you get there, you can relieve all my wonderful adventure in about 200+ pictures. The aftermath of the would-be mugger is also in there.

I always love to hear from people who love their kids. I too want to take lots of vacations with my children, I just don't feel that this trip is appropriate for a baby, also I didn't plan on it, it just came up since my husband just got this job. I too don't feel I need a break from my kids, ok well maybe a 5 minute break now and then, but I will have a hard time leaving him for so long. It's just that I have always longed to go to NY and this way it will practically be free for us to go. I also feel that leaving him behind will do no harm to my sweet baby. As countless people have reassured me he will not remember, or even notice that I am gone. He loves my Mom who has watched him a couple of times so I know that he does well with her. And yes he does eat from the bottle with breast milk in it. I had my gallbladder out when he was 6 weeks old and my husband fed him for a few days from a bottle since I had a hard time holding him. He also feeds our little man from a bottle once or twice a week to keep him used to it so that we can go out for anniversary like we did this month. Also don't worry I am not offended by what you are saying at all...I know you are answering my question as I asked it and I appreciate it. A side not though...in case any of you are confused...I AM a Mormon and yes there are a lot of us that have a lot of kids, but it is not because we don't believe in birth control. It's because the church always says for us to remember that the Bible says "to multiply and replenish the Earth". The church leaves it up to us to follow that how we feel. Tigger...I do want to see a show and I have already seen Beauty and the Beast. We want to see Mary Poppins but it is quite expensive...I will check out that website...maybe we will go! Stephen(5BR), thanks for that! I am excited to see the Statue of Liberty from our dinner cruise. I will have to check out your pics and hopefully I won't have to witness a mugging...lol. Phantom may be a good idea to see...but I have seen it here...I will have to think about it. Also for those of you who want to see pictures of my sweet baby Malcolm...visit my website...there is also pics of my sisters baby who was born on May 23. http://wyattandlacey.blogspot. com/
