    Only joshing dan<

I accept your joshing with good humor and self-depricating wit. It's funny that this discussion brought up an old memory of me as an infant sitting on my aunt's lap at the piano, just banging away on the keys. I've always sworn to my family that I remember that, while my mother insisted that I must just be remembering a photo of the event (I was probably 6 or 8 months old).

I think there's probably enough research on infants and their perceptions of the world around them to support my half-baked theory. But when you get a report from the next week-old child that you see in WDW, I'll be most interested in the result!

I was 12 weeks old when my parents drove across the country to a brand new place that opened - Disneyland ! Yep, I was there in June 1955 and have the pictures to prove it - of course can't remember a single thing- but pictures by some of the attractions with my parents are some of the favorite pictures of me as a child I have.

And like you Dan, I remember certain incidents ( clear as day) from when I had to be 1 year give or take a few weeks... don't know why. They are random..not particularly exciting except I remember my Mom's Mom as clear as can be and she passed when I was 18 months. I shouldn't be able to remember some of those things but I do.
yet I can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday - go figure

well if you understood what I wrote then why did you question it in the first place? You went all interrogatory on me and then claim that you "got that". Why do that to me?

The cute young woman in the nurse outfit attending to my needs was definitely worth a skinned knee. It was like free cosplay!

you have kids vbdad and how would you feel if someone said the world would be a better place if you had never had children? How would you feel? You made a very discustig thing to say to somebody.

I never singled you out with bad things to say but you now made it personal. You come on here and brag and then hurt me with comments on possibly being a parent. Who are you to make such a vicious statement. How would you feel if a poster said the world is a better place if you never had kids??? How would you feel vbdad? I hope it never happens to you like what you did to me.

Nikki that was a low blow also. How would you feel if someone told you the world is a better place if you never have kids? I wont say that to you and I hope nobody else does either because it hurts very much to hear. :(

Like what? I never got personal. I questioned why someone who has a choice would bring a crying newborn who constantly needs diapers.

You excuse those 2 making very nasty remarks about the world is better that I wont have a child. You excuse that?? How can you. Let me guess you are are friends with them and that makes it Ok. Well it doesnt because what they said was a PERSONAL attack on me bearing children.

bobbelee produce 1 quote that I made that deservers someone to say the world is a better place if I have no children.

Just 1 bobbelee since you excuse personal and unforgivable attacks simply because they are friends of yours.

Just because you have certain beliefs doesn't mean you are the end all in what is being discussed. i.e. post #30, who are you to tell people how to enjoy their vacations? Vacations mean many things to many people and just because they don't agree with you doesn't mean they are wrong.

Also, your post #107 was incredibly insulting towards Ursula who doesn't deserve that from you. She made an observation about you because of the way you are acting and how your writing comes across.

So really, calm down. Just because you had a poor experience doesn't mean that parents should be berated by you, and that chirldern of a certain age shouldn't be allowed on a family vacation. Yes there are some parents who don't take care of their children, but unfortunately that's the world we live in.
