It's funny that this discussion brought up an old memory of me as an infant sitting on my aunt's lap at the piano, just banging away on the keys. I think there's probably enough research on infants and their perceptions of the world around them to support my half-baked theory. But when you get a report from the next week-old child that you see in WDW, I'll be most interested in the result!

I was 12 weeks old when my parents drove across the country to a brand new place that opened - Disneyland ! Yep, I was there in June 1955 and have the pictures to prove it - of course can't remember a single thing- but pictures by some of the attractions with my parents are some of the favorite pictures of me as a child I have. And like you Dan, I remember certain incidents ( clear as day) from when I had to be 1 year give or take a few weeks... don't know why. They are random..not particularly exciting except I remember my Mom's Mom as clear as can be and she passed when I was 18 months. I shouldn't be able to remember some of those things but I do. yet I can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday - go figure

I never got personal. I questioned why someone who has a choice would bring a crying newborn who constantly needs diapers.
